Students get big rewards for doing good.

The Dolphin Coast Land Management assisted by uku Phakamisa hosted their annual schools competition on October 22 at Stanger Town Hall.
Pupils had to make a product out of recycled materials.
Eight schools competed and the judges were from the Institute of Waste Management Southern Africa, Mpact, Department of Environmental Affairs, KwaZulu Natal Wildlife and KwaDukuza municipality.
In the primary schools category Nduduzo Dlamini from Bonginfundo Primary took the first prize of R5000 for his trolley bag.
From Lee Primary Tsepiso Gumede took the second position, he had made a soccer table and he walked away with R3000. Annet Kumang from Bonginfundo Primary shared third place for her place mat with Udeel Gobin from Harrbodasing Primary who had made a desk lamp. They both received R2000.
In the high school category, Keshrir Mahadu from Darnall Secondary won R5000 for his lamp and in the second place Nokuphila Qwabe from New Guelderland Combined won R3000.
